The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) published its 2022 findings that indicate a 2-percent rise in fatal collisions involving vehicles over 10,000 pounds. In 2021, there were an estimated 5,821 deaths. The final tally for 2022 shows that number rose to 5,936.
