The nearly $500 billion, multi-year highway funding bill has passed the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. It has moved on to the House where it already has over 50 amendments. One of which hopes to delay the implementation of the Hours of Service reform rule. The spending bill is being called the Investing in a New Vision for the Environment and Surface Transportation in America (INVEST in America) Act.
